Energy and the Environment

Promoting energy efficiency and independence is no longer just good for the environment and to promote business and personal household efficiencies, it is a national security issue.

We must further develop energy independence policies so that we do not continue to fund, through our energy policy, regimes in the world that are unfriendly to U.S. interests.  The future is now for bio-fuel, Ethanol 85, wind-power technologies and fuel production from algae and greater use of center-point solar energy technologies are on the horizon to create a new generation of green jobs in Iowa and the U.S.

The price to produce clean energy sources is coming down and we as Americans should support such alternatives to promote U.S. jobs, energy independence and national security.  It is an investment that saves the U.S. money elsewhere due to the many benefits provided.
